A woman has sustained potentially serious injuries following a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus in Telford.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Lightmoor Way in Telford at 10.32am and sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival crews found a woman who was the pedestrian.
“She was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained potentially serious injuries. She received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene.
“She was conveyed to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital under emergency blue light conditions with medics travelling on board for continued care en route.”
“No persons from the bus required treatment.”
